How do I sign up?

Please send an email to info@artisanmediaservices.com and include the following information:

• Winery Name
• Primary contact info (name, email, phone)
• # of products that you wish to shoot (minimum 2)
• Full product names, including vintage
• Instructions for wine pick-up and drop-off
• Any special requests* (e.g. CD for images, removal of vintage)

What image formats are provided?

Artisan Media will provide 2 image files for each bottle:

• Print-ready, high resolution TIFF image (300 dpi)
• Web-ready, medium resolution JPEG image (72 dpi)

What is the cost?

Standard pricing ranges from $75 - $150 per image and is determined on a case by case basis. A 50% advance payment is required at time of pick-up to reserve your spot. We provide a quantity discount for 10 or more products. Please CONTACT US to receive a custom quote.

 

Where do i send my wine?

Pick-up and delivery of your wines to our Sonoma studio is included in our service. There is an additional fee for pickups greater than 50 miles. Please include instructions for pick-up with your RSVP.

 

where do i send payment?

Payments will be handled via the Artisan Media website using PayPal - all major credit cards will be accepted. Payments are required before images can be accessed for download.  Checks are accepted upon approval and should be made payable to Artisan Media. An invoice for your records will also be sent to the address provided in the RSVP. If payment is not recieved within 15 days of receipt of invoice, we will contact you via phone with final payment request before proceeding with removal of your images from your online database.

 

what preparation is required for the bottle prior to the shoot?

It is important for us to photograph the best looking bottles you can provide. Please check the following so we can achieve the best results.

• Front Labels: Check for smoothness and bubbles; labels need to be straight and undamaged.
• Back Labels: Please remove the back label for ALL white and rosé wines.
• Foil Capsule: Check that the capsule is undamaged and even.
• Bottle Defects: Check that the glass seams are on the side or invisible from the front view. Also, please check for defects making sure glass is clear, no air bubbles.

 

where can I access the digital images?

You will automatically receive a 30 day subscription to download the photos through the Artisan Media Kit™ located on the Artisan Media website. A CD containing all of your product images is also available for an additional fee – please include this request on your RSVP.

 

whAT HAPPENS TO my WINE after the shoot?

Each wine will be kept in our photography studio for a 30 day period. This will expedite the process should there be any need for reshooting the bottle shots. The wine storage conditions will not be comparable to those in your winery. If you wish to have your wine returned at the end of the 30 day period, please contact us to make arrangements for drop off.

 

What additional services are provided and what is the associated cost?

• Labels can be photographed for a fee of $75 each.
• As mentioned above, we can produce multi-product beauty shots for up to 5 products. Prices are based on our studio rate of $150/hour.
• The vintage can be removed from the label for a fee of $25 per bottle.
• Upon request, we can provide a CD including all of your product images for $25.

Does Artisan Media provide ongoing Trade/media hosting?

Artisan Media also provides hosting services via the Artisan Media Kit™ for all of your media assets (product images, online videos, etc.) for an annual fee based on your specific media needs. Several of our clients have asked for this hosting service to ensure that their assets are safe and secure. This will also enable 24/7 access for your sales and marketing staff (e.g. marketing personnel, sales reps, distributors) to all of your trade/media assets from anywhere in the world.
